MEETINGS

MEETING 1


Alejandro: Good morning. I've organized this meeting because our sales are going down dramatically these months. I'd like to hear some suggestions. Could someone start the discussion?
Andrei: I'd like to start. Personally, I think our sales are going down because our marketing department had a bad management.
José Antonio: I agree with you. And in my opinion we have a strong opposition.
Jorge: I'm afraid I disagree with you because I think the real reason is that people  don't buy as they used to.
Alejandro: I agree with you, Jorge, but I also agree in part with with Jose and Andrei. To sum up, we have to improve our product because the market is too competitive. Do you agree?
José Antonio: Yes, I agree
Jorge: I agree too.
Andrei: Yes, I agree that's a good idea for our problems.


MEETING 2



Noelia: Welcome everyone. I've called this meeting to explain a big problem we're having . Our sales of umbrellas are going down dramatically these months. I want to hear some suggestions. Jorge, would you like to begin?
Jorge: The way I see it, it is logical because the weather is so good and it doesn't rain at all.
Cecilia: Yeah, you're perfectly right but also I think we have to change the design. It's not really good at all.
José Carlos: I'm afraid I disagree with it. In my opinion our main problem is the competition with the Chinese market. They sell faulty goods, their advertising is really good.
Noelia: I think it's a good reason but in my opinion Jorge and Cecilia are right too. So, to sum up, we have to change our design, improve our marketing startegy and pray for rain! So any more suggestions or ideas? OK, thanks for coming and.. off to work!

Roxana: Welcome everyone. The main aim of this meeting is to discuss the reasons why our sales are going down dramatically these months. Would someone  like to open the discussion?
Krasimir: Well, from my point of view the sales are going down because the advertising campaign wasn't accepetd bu the customers.
Raúl: I agree with you and I also think it is hard to compete with the other companies.
Andrea: I'm sorry but that's not how I see it. the way I see it is that the crisis is affecting the car sector a lot.
Raúl: Yeah, you've got a point there.
Roxana: I'd go along with Krasi but I also agree with Raúl and Andrea. So, to sum up we've agreed that we have to improve the advertising campign and face the crisis and the competition. Well, that's everything. Thank you!

Esperanza: Good morning. Let's make a start. I've called this meeting to design our marketing strategy for the new cereal we're going to launch to the market and to maximize the sales I think of some promotional gifts. Jaime, would you like to open the discussion?
Jaime: Peronally I think that a calorie counter is the best because that way the customer can control their diet.
Adriana: I'm afarid Jaime I disagree with you. In my opinion a calorie counter is too big and is not practical. I've thought of a video fitness  because it is funny and profitable.
Elena: I'm afarid I can't agree with you because we don't know the customers' likes. In my opinion the best is a discount voucher because the customer can buy what they want.
Esperanza: In my view, the best gift is the discount voucher. Thanks for your suggestions and thanks for coming.


MEETING 5


Carlos: Good morning everyone. I've called this meeting to discuss the sales of our products, which are going down a lot these months. I would like to listen to your suggestions.
Arnold: In my opinion I think that the sales are going down because the advertising campaign wasn't very good.
Karina: I completely agree with Arnold. Also I think another reason why the sales are going down is because our competition is very strong.
Eva: I'm afraid you're mistaken Karina. From my point of view I think our prices are competitive enough.
Carlos: Well I completely agree with you Eva but also Karina and Arnold. So, to sum up, we have to improve a lot. Well, this is all. We finish the meeting. Good-bye.
